Fri. 10. [10 June 1898] Slept till 9.30. Up and dressed and out with Mr
Hoare to the Leichtenstein where we saw some not very interesting
Italian pictures and two exquisite Orley panels. Walked down to the
Votif Kirche and through the Burg home. M [Maurice] went to Pulitza.
After lunch to the Museum where we saw some lovely pictures, then I
came in and had my hair washed. Dined early and went to see the
Heimchen am Herd at the Opera - charming. After it a ballet most
amusing and excellent, but of the kind we have no longer.
