Sun. 2. [2 September 1894] Today Frau v Hirsch with Eugene and
Claude left. I'm sorry they are gone. The Buffens, the Browns, a
washed out little Englishwoman are the only people left. Went to the
Bauern Theatre but it was rather long and hot. After tea Papa, Elsa
and I walked up to the Hungerburg.
