Fri March 2. [2 March 1900] Still fine! I went in early to the Consulate
and planted the new plants. Then rode my horse round to Bethany
['Eizariya] and came in and took Nimr out for an hour, going up to the
top of the Ain Karim hill where some fellaheen went and got white
clematis for me. The Augusta Victoria party left today including 40
Americans in my hotel. Kassim and I are not sorry.
