At the top of the village we stopped at Shaikh Hasim al Din's house, a long, low, stone-built diwan room in front of us and down the hillside below it an exquisite little Persian garden in two terraces - a tank with a weeping willow beside it and roses....there was Hisan al Din himself, the merriest, jolliest old holy man you ever beheld.
