This series of photographs (Personalia G) were sent to Bell by General Aylmer Haldane of the British Army and are accompanied by a list of descriptions (which doesn't appear to be in Bell's hand).

This photograph, "G", is described as "Hillah - the fort[?] is near right of picture". 

The back of the photograph has the handwritten caption (in what appears to be the same hand) "Hillah".
