This series of photographs (Personalia G) were sent to Bell by General Aylmer Haldane of the British Army and are accompanied by a list of descriptions (which doesn't appear to be in Bell's hand).

This photograph, "F", is described as "Tel Afar looking toward SE (back to political officer)". 

The back of the photograph has the handwritten caption (in what appears to be the same hand) "Tel Afar".
