Photograph taken by Gertrude Bell in Jordan, February 1905

Description

Vaulted building - possibly stable - and Arab men and horses. "To the east lay a building the Arabs maintain to have been a stable. It was planned like a church, in three parallel chambers, the nave being divided from the aisles by arcades of which six arches on either side were standing...The three chambers were roofed with barrel vaults."
