Statue of Buddha under sacred Bo (Bodhi) tree - said to be direct descendant of tree under which Buddha sat and gained nirvana. A sapling from the original tree (which has since died) was carried to Sri Lanka by Ashoka's child, and in turn a sapling from that tree was returned to Bodh Gaya.
