Description
Pilgrims in water. "The shrouded people clambered down the mud banks and stood waist deep in the stream until the moment when the priest laid the cross three times upon the water, then suddenly, with a great firing off of guns, every one proceeded to baptise himself by dipping and rolling over in the water. It was the strangest sight."
