My dear,

I’ve only a bit of a minute to catch the post. They hung me up long and I went map chasing to Stamford & Dalan’s – Norman in the F. O. tells me there are no other commissioners as yet appointed, nor is any meeting place found , I can wait a bit & even leave London – if I keep near it.

When they say that it usually occurs that a telegram arrives within the next few hours to start at once.

But I do hate London – I may go down to Suffolk – Wales is far – but I don’t know yet – and this for the present.

I loved your last letter – as indeed all of them – you hit the note.
Yrs,
Dick
