June 29 Red Barns Coatham, Redcar. My dear Papa I went to Rounton yesterday and I think it has grown very much it is nearly finished we went upstairs. The raven is so wild we cannot let him out. My garden is full of wild roses. The garden chairs have come. There are only two pigeons. Maurice and I send our love to you and Miss Olliffe from your loving Gertrude
