Sunday. Dearest Mother. Here is a letter from Mrs Pritchard who apparently wants to go to the Drawing room on the 9th also. I opened it with a lot of receipts. The babes and I went to Wilton yesterday afternoon and got lots of primroses. It [sic] cold and grey but warmer than anywhere else. Today the sun has reappeared to our great joy. We had a merry drive home, the little girls in great spirits and much amused by my efforts at tying up bunches of primroses with some hairs of Elsa's that I made her give me - they were not strong enough however. Would you like them to have any more Parish[?]? They finished their bottle about ten days ago and they seem very well - I don't think they need any more. The R.A. tickets have not come. I am so sorry the Saturday was not sent to you last week, I thought you had had it and had sent it to me - I didn't see the cover. I sent you the third volume of F.B. didn't I? I have finished the 4th and 5th which you shall have - don't hurry over them, I have lots of books. Ever your very affectionate daughter Gertrude
