95 Sloane Street. Sat. Dearest Mother. I have just been sitting with Aunt Bessie. She is very bad poor little dear, but her Doctor says she will probably be all right by Monday. I'm going in to see her at 6 when she is in bed. She is sitting up now in her bedroom. I won't telegraph to you tomorrow as there is no need to do so and she doesn't want me to go in before 10. I think I'll write to Florence and tell her to look in upon her also as she's rather lonely. I've sent her round soup and grapes. Ever your affectionate daughter Gertrude
