June 4. We are having a most prosperous journey and are now off over the Lebanon to Beyrouth [Beyrouth (Beirut)]. You observe the Lebanon [Liban, Jebel] covered with snow in the backgound of the above picture. This place is exquisite. We have enjoyed our two days here immensely. G.B.
