He said if she had put off coming to him it would have got so bad that she wd have had to rest her eyes for some time, as it is she may use them as much as she likes - which is also a comfort!
I had a charming evening with Lisa yesterday; tonight I dine with the Stanleys and go on afterwards to Lady Jeune's. We didn't go to the Pop as Elsa was staying indoors and I was fearfully rushed today. Mr Strong comes at 6 and I hadn't done enough work for him.
