Sunday. Red Barns Coatham, Redcar. Dearest Mother. Tiny's wedding must have been very amusing - what did you think of Mr Jackson? I am much interested to hear that Mr G.D. is going to St. P. - well, I could have done without him! Lady A. is extraordinary! - there is nothing to be done but to treat her with a little wholesome contempt.
I enclose a letter from Florence, which please keep for me or return. Do you think Papa could be induced to meet them in Holland? It would be mighty amusing and I think he would enjoy it as much as I should. Colonel Kozloff is the gentleman whose mother was very miser. I shall be amused to meet him again! Of course Gerald knew him and told them. I think I had better exchange my book with him for his containing much of hunt.

It's very warm, but rainy, which bores as we were going to bicycle. How interesting about Mrs Gaskell! Was Amy Gaskell one of the bridesmaids?

I am going to Rounton from Tuesday to Friday. Aunt Florence will be away and Aunt Ada ruling in her stead. I don't think it will be very enjoyable.

The babes are quite well. We drove to the woods yesterday afternoon. Your affectionate daughter Gertrude]
