I didn't know she had been ill at all. I rebuked her; she was a great darling but offered no explanations.
Miss Thomson has returned looking much better, and surprised and delighted to see how well the little girls are. They are certainly very blooming, both of them.

I have sent Mrs Pritchard her presentation dress. I shall wait and see what Papa's moves are and probably come up on Tuesday or Wednesday - I should think I could go to 98 on Wednesday, or would you rather I waited till Thursday?
