Worked all morning with the Kasis at the inscrips on the mosques and
climbed up into a fine rock cut liwan which you reach by an inner stair.
It rained heavily after lunch, after which I planned the Jami el Muluk till
5.30. After tea went with the Kasis and the head of police to see an
inscrip in the new little mosque, a hovel by the river. The inscrip was
found among the ruins. Rain after dinner. Bar all day 28.15 Temp 8
o'clock AM 56.
