Tues 15. [15 July 1902] Went down to Meiringen and lunched and
then drove up to Grimsel - 12.30-1.30 and it cost about £1. Lovely
gorgeous hot weather, but the drive was a little long. We telegraphed
to Alexander and Heinrich II to join us. I was made welcome by Frau
Liesegang - he was in bed with a broken leg. In the evening talked to
Dr Wilson, Mr Wicks and Mr Brady [see also Bradley] who were there
with Kobler[?], Emile Rey and Hans Almer. Delicious place the
Grimsel.
