Tues 1. [1 April 1902] Arabic in the morning till 11. After lunch rode
under the palm trees - quite tropical with huts and niggers. Crossed
the Kishon [Qishon] and rode along the sands. Mr M. [Monaghan]
came to see me at 6.30. Persian.
