Wed 7. [7 March 1900] With much difficulty got Dr R [Rosen] off at 2.30
and we rode to Sur Bahel and up to Mar Elias. Lots of ranunculus, red
and yellow, tiny and most lovely. Not very agreeable though it was
hot and lovely. Jerassimo called and Dicoke with his photographs
and Abbaza.
