Mon 15. [15 May 1899] Out to the Museum. Awful cold. Feel very
orthodox about the Sistine! Lovely Holbeins and Van Dyck portraits.
The Giorgione Venus a great joy. Splendid Palmas. Stayed in all
afternoon and went to the Fliegender Holl‰nder in the evening.
Senta-Godier, Holl‰nder Perron, father Wachter - all very good. Miss
Edith Johnstone staying here with 2 nieces, also Georgie Wellesley.
