We then drove out on the tour d'inspection along very good roads, planted with trees, and so to the Jardin d'Aclimatation. The town looks very French. Lots of Indians. The Chinese a different type, Anamites. Wear their hair in a bun and are much better looking. Dined at Olivier's all the men in white, everyone very pale.
