August 7th Monday. [7 August 1899] Hugo and I left home at 12.30
changed at Darlington where we met Will Pease who travelled with us
to York and told us all his Altai experiences. Waited an hour at York
where we lunched and met Aunt Florence Aunt Maisie, Phyllis and
Phoebe. On to Harwich {lunching} dining with them in the train. Mrs
Henry Pease travelled with us. Got to Harwich at 10 and straight to
bed on board.
