20 Thursday [20 June 1878] Morning we had on our summer things we went into the hayfield with the Johnsons. Afternoon went to the sands it was broiling I dug a fort so pretty. Evening Maurice had so bad lessons that he might not come in. I came in I saw the baby in his bath. Lessons went on very well got five for conduct.
