Sat Feb 4. [4 February 1911] Went with Mr Hillelson to Salahiyyel
where we saw the fine Muristan belonging to the mosque of Muhiyyed
Din ibn el Arabi, now a harem, with a good inscrip. It was built by a
doctor in the time of Malik ez Zahir. Then to the mosque of another
holy man [space left blank], where we saw his room and the mosque
itself, good 17th c woodwork ceiling and minbar. Fine view from
minaret. Went up to top of tower and saw from afar the shrine of the 7
sleepers. Cold but fine. So home, Mr H. lunched. Went to Club after
dinner.
