Jerad Pasha, he comes from Angora [Ankara (Ancyra)] last. Typical
Pasha visit with the Konak full of beggars and horse buyers and the
Pasha all politeness. He is oldish and delicate, unmarried, said to be
a good man. Tea with the Trats and dinner with the Wylies.
