Morning put away the stares. Afternoon watched Gillingham. Evening went to see the bonfire in the cricket filde [sic] and Papa fired off rockets we had great fun. I got a letter from Billy. Nucie is gone to Middlesbro [Middlesbrough] and Mamy undressed Maurice. Lessons went on very well.
