Mon 19. [19 February 1900] Mr Gregge came to see me in the
morning, a very funny old man, and in the afternoon he took us all
round where the walls of Agrippa were - from the Jaffa gate to the
Russian enclosure and down to the Valley of Jehosaphat. We also
penetrated into the house of the Kurdys and saw the Pool of Hezekiah
and into the new house the Greek patriarch is building which rests on
Crusading Vaults. Fine but windy and I had a cold.
