Fri 11. [11 March 1898] Snowing. Rode with Mr M. [Mainwaring]on Mr
W.[Walford[?]]'s pony. Sun came out. Round the race course -
Mississippi Bay. M [Maurice] not very fit. Lunched with Mr M. after
which we shopped and photographed. Pessimist to tea. Mr Adam to
dinner.
