Thurs. 15. [15 August 1895] Streaming with rain and too cold to swim.
I did some Persian in the morning. It was the Assumption and we went
to a play in the afternoon. It lasted from 3 till 6 and the plot mostly
turned upon a bridge in a Klamm which had an awkward way of
standing on its head unexpectedly! It was a dullish performance. The
Miss Rucks came with us.
