Mon Feb 6. [6 February 1911] Went to mosque and Malik ez Zahir's
library to study mosaics. Fathi P. called and had a long talk. He,
Shukri Beg and all want to give up Crete [Kriti] to a foreign power not
Greece. Seleim Beg says that the agitation about Crete is now quite
artificial. Fathi said the jealousy between Roumelians (Bulgarians)
and Turks very great {after} before counter revolution because the
Turkish troops had fired on the Roumelians. He is I think a Bulgarian.
