Sun Ap 18. [18 April 1909] Lovely day and I am at last well. We sent a
guffa up the river to above El Guwwer last night and this morning rode
up then sent back the horses and ferried across to El 'Ashik which I
planned. It only took about 2 hours. Then we got into the guffa and
floated down stream, I lunching the while. Drew more pottery and
plaster and then rode round a little photographing. All the work
finished.
