Sep 7 Wales My dear Papa We have been to Penmaenmawr to see such nice little girls called Empson. We went up a high mountain covered with lovely heather and we had great fun. Horace drove the pony to the station and I drove it home. One night we played at schoolmaster and Maurice was master, and he laid in to us when we did nothing at all. The blackberries are nearly ripe, and there are such lots. we went to gather some yesterday, but we found very few.
