Wed 11. [11 April 1900] Rode at 7 with the Rs [Rosens], I on a man's
saddle, which I succeeded in retaining. Cold wind. Did Arabic all
morning and had my lesson at 1.30 after which I called on Mrs
Dickson and went down to the Soeurs de la CharitÈ to see about my
riding skirt. Mrs Dickson same to tea and then Kr‰mer (at the
Consulate) and I showed him my travel photographs. Went walking
with Mrs D and Mr Dunn before dinner. Lovely sunset.
